Description

MySirius Alert is an app designed to notify users when alerts occur on MySirius. It is available for all JRI-MySirius customers who have activated the MySirius Alert optional and charged module. It is available for all service levels (Initial, Serenity and Advanced in Cloud or Server version) downloadable for free from Apple store and Google Play store.

This application ensures the visualization and management of JRI-MySirius alerts (Acknowledgement, takeover, snooze and inhibition). It also allows you to locate equipment on a map (Maps Module required), and to apply basic configuration templates on your equipment.

The application requires an internet connection to synchronize with MySirius.

Prerequisites

• Up-to-date Android or Apple device
• A MySirius CLOUD subscription or MySirius SERVER license with an account (login/password and domain)
  
• An internet connection (Wifi/4G/5G) is required to synchronize the application with MySirius

Features

Login and Sync with MySirius

• When using the application for the first time, you must log in with your MySirius credentials.

• By default, the application is set to work with MySirius CLOUD. For use with MySirius SERVER you need to change the server name by clicking on the button

2 types of authentication are possible: BASIC and LDAP.

• You can reset your password by clicking on the button “I LOST MY PASSWORD”.

• Once connected, the application synchronizes with MySirius to display your fleet information.

Alert notifications

• When an alert is triggered on MySirius, and the MySirius ALERT application is launched on your device, you will receive a notification (lock and home screen, notifications panel, application badge)

Menu

The MENU button gives access to the application customization, the support contact and the disconnect button.

Support contact

A message can be sent to JRI technical support directly from the application by clicking on ? Support . For the SERVER version, an email will be sent to the technical support address entered in the DISTRIBUTOR account.

Customization

The background and colors of the application can be customized by clicking on Theme.

Disconnect

After the app launch, it keeps connected to MySirius and runs as a background app. Clicking on the Logout button will log you out.

Search for a device

• Mysirius Alert gives the possibility to search for a device by scanning the barcode of a JRI device. The application must be authorized to access your camera.

The equipment sheet opens automatically on the Measures tab

• It is also possible to search a device by entering the name of an equipment and applying filters

The main display screen allows you to view :

Processing alarms

Clicking on a monitored unit in alarm from the ALERTS dashboard or from the application notification displays the list of alerts in progress, obsolete alerts and acknowledged ones.

The actions below are done in the same way as in MySirius.

Inhibition and activation of the alerts is only possible for profiles with required rights.

Monitored unit sheet

• Clicking on a monitored unit shows a detailed sheet with the following tabs:

Measurements

• The measurements are displayed as graphs or tables with the possibility to choose a period and add comments.

Configuration

• The configuration of a monitored unit is displayed and the “Apply Template” button allows you to choose among a list of basic configurations from MySirius (Measurement frequency, Thresholds, Delay). Select the template from the list and click on Apply.

Location

• A monitored unit can be located on a map using the button . (Activation of MySirius PLANS module required)
• Clicking on the button will display the information of the unit or locate the map according to the GPRS coordinates entered in MySirius.
